While as a nation Kiwis stand united, at a regional level there are many differences- in climate, economic drivers and culture.

So where you choose to settle can have a real effect on how well you fit in.

Our regional pages each provide a brief outline of the area and some basic statistics.

SSNZ can help you by providing information on services available for newly arrived migrants. There are 18 SSNZ offices around New Zealand.

Please be aware that SSNZ is not available in all regions.
