One of the things you’ll be most concerned about is where you are going to live once you get to New Zealand. Rather than rush into anything we recommend you take your time to find somewhere.

Find somewhere to stay when you first arrive. That way at least you’ll have a place to come to. Many people stay with friends or family when they first arrive in New Zealand.

It is often a good idea to rent somewhere so you can get to know the area you’re living in before buying a house in the area.
