What is Healthline?

Healthline is a free telephone health information service. Registered nurses will assess your health needs over the phone, and give you information and advice to help you decide what to do next.

If you call Healthline on 0800 611 116 Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. the person answering your call can usually arrange for an interpreter. Outside these hours Healthline uses other interpreter services if it can.

However, it is not always possible to locate an interpreter in a particular language at short notice.
